My video lags about 1/3 a second when playing games only. I use the TV as a monitor so, when I'm at my desktop it has no noticeable lag. It's not a High quality TV to my knowledge, but it does the job for now.

Answer
Hey, that is a great question, thanks for coming to answers, I hope this information helps.
Most computers can connect to an external display for mirrored and extended desktops. While high-definition television sets cannot match the resolution that many dedicated computer monitors are capable of, an HDTV can be a convenient way to view movies and websites on a larger screen. HDTVs typically accept a variety of inputs, and once you've found the correct input to match your output capabilities, connecting the two is as easy as plugging the correct cable in.

This site has complete information http://www.geekwithlaptop.com/how-to-connect-laptop-to-tv

These sites have good information how to

Determine which video standard to use. VGA and HDMI are the two most common standards used to connect a computer and an HDTV, but not all computers support HDMI output, and some televisions will not accept VGA input at 1080p resolution. Check the technical specifications of your devices to make sure you're using the right cable.

Connect your video cable to the appropriate ports on your computer and HDTV.

Tune your HDTV to display either the VGA or HDMI input, depending on which standard you are using.

Change your display settings to match your desired setup. On a PC, you can accomplish this by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting "Properties." The right-most tab, "Settings," contains options for switching between the computer displays and, if your laptop's video card supports them, extended and mirrored desktop options...People First Yes Thatâs my motto at Yahoo Answers. AFL Finals 2012 Problem?

Rod O

I have a question... During September 2012 I went on holidays with a few friends.... During the weekend we were away we had the AFL & NRL Finals, week 1 of Finals... I knew was going to be a disaster because we only had 1 television and the bar nearby had no TV

Problem was... 6 of us, 3 love AFL, hate NRL... 3 NRL hate AFL and matches scheduled same time...

Which games out of these 4 would u be more entertained watching?Reason I ask so this year can try accommodate everyone in the event only 1 TV is available

1. Friday Night Qualifying Finals
NRL - Canterbury vs. Manly
AFL - Hawthorn vs. Collingwood

2. Saturday Qualifying Finals
NRL - Melbourne vs. South Sydney
AFL - Adelaide vs. Sydney Swans

3. Saturday Night Elimination Finals
NRL - North QLD vs. Brisbane
AFL - Geelong Cats vs. Fremantle

4. Sunday Elimination Finals
NRL - Canberra vs. Cronulla Sharks
AFL - WestCoast vs. Nth Melbourne

Answer
Oh yeah sure like duh? The same teams will not be playing in 2013.

This btw is the Dumb Question of the Season so far. Most likely you will not win the prestigious Dumb Question of the Year Award. But you will probably get DQ of the month for February.

I guess you haven't heard of cell phones and laptops where such games could be viewed.
