i want a nice computer with pretty good graphics and good performance im not worried about the price id be willing to go up depending on the answer

Answer
Too pricey! You'd be better off with a Lenovo Y580. i7 3610/3630QM, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia 660m GTX for $900 (TechBargains link will give you coupon code for Lenovo site), or you can get this refurb on eBay for under $800

Much better than the HP

EDIT: The point is, mine listed is cheaper, more powerful, and better quality than the HP. Lenovo is a better laptop brand

Please help me buy a laptop?

I need a high performance and a good looking ( black ) laptop :(
My budget : 930$
Needs : Adobe Photoshop CS5.5, Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 // some games like PES 2012, Assassin's Creed Revelations, CoD... ( no Crysis,Metro 2033 or very intense gaming )

Any suggestions would be really appreciated!
thanks :)
@Flip Dude,
Hey!! I said I did NOT want something for intense gaming!

Answer
I would look at a Dell XPS. They can go somewhere around $899 and up and I think is great looking, is made of high quality materials, and is quite powerful. I'm not sure if it comes in black though. My friend has a 15 inch and is very happy with it. He plays starcraft 2 on high settings on a machine that costs about $1100. While my other friend plays the same game on barely higher settings on a machine that costs over three times as much. I realize that is may go just a little over your budget, but it is worth the extra money. Stay away from the inspiron if you want to do anything quickly. Stay away from a $900 Alienware: you're only paying for the name and your stuck with a tiny 11 inch with no CD drive, and you can't get a new Macbook for under $1000. Used is always an option. Just warning you, if anything goes wrong, your screwed because the Dell customer service is horrible.

Is the Dell Inspiron Laptop or the Asus Factory-Refurbished Laptop any good?

Answer
Neither of those give any info on a specific laptop. Asking if an Asus Factory-Refurbished laptop is good for gaming is like asking if a Ford is good for snow... kind of depends, a Ford Explorer would be alright but a Ford Focus not so much. Also, there are several different kinds of Inspirons (14z, 14R, 15, 15R, 17R).

Anyways, I wouldn't really recommend any laptop for gaming, especially if you're on a budget. Laptops overheat a lot easier than desktops, and games require a lot of work from the computer, which results in more heat. And I wouldn't really suggest "trying your luck" anyways... if it overheats, it'll shut down, so you can take your chances but you'll get annoyed pretty quickly when you only make it 5 or 10 mins into the game. Also, overheating is not good for computers & could kill the processor, which would probably be around $300 in parts & labor to replace.

Here's a list of the top 10 gaming laptops of 2012, the cheapest is $1100, but most are more around $1500-$2000: http://computers.toptenreviews.com/gaming-laptops/

Best Affordable Gaming Pc in 2012 (WoW)?

rawrsterz

Hello everyone! I would like to know your opinions on the best (but cheapest) - at least under $800-900 gaming pc (moniter excluded) you'd recommend in order to achieve playing at maxed out settings in WoW. I've only ever played the game on a cheap laptop that really couldn't handle anything other than the worst of the worst so... I'm really new when it comes to gaming pcs. My birthday is coming up soon and I want to get a new pc that's reasonably priced but still packs a punch!! So... Any help from any of you pc savvy folks or hardcore gamers is greatly appreciated ^-^

Answer
For around $800 you can get this:

- 8GB of 1600MHz RAM
- ATI HD6870
- 650 watt power supply
- 1TB hard drive
- Well ventilated midi case
