I am looking for a decent gaming laptop here are the specs I would like:
2.5 ghz intel dual ( preferably quad core) processor or higher.
At least 1gb of VRAM (preferably 2gb or more)
A 17"+, 1080p display
Minimum 3 gb of RAM
250gb+ HDD
Also I'm well aware that it is easy to find this stuff at high prices but I was hoping for somewhere between £500 and £800 pounds so please don't just answer about alienwares that are £1200+ please!!!! :)

Lenovo makes good gaming laptops! I have a Lenovo Y580 with an i7 ivy bridge processor, nvidia geforce gtx 660m graphics card and i love it!!!

Hello,
I am looking for a gaming laptop at $530 or below. My main goal is to be able to run Battlefield 3 at Medium settings with a little tweaking. I am a young teenager and I do not have an actual job. However I do sell paracord and paracord bracelets and I make an average of $15 a month. (I am undergoing the process of selling on ebay and amazon for more business) I am willing to do any brand except for an HP because I have had horrible luck with all HP products. I have currently $230 after saving for about 7 months. I would appreciate any help but please do not be stupid. Not a whole lot of people with common sense these days. Thank You!

The prices of laptops go up and down and a few go on special all of the time. There are a few out there now at exactly $530 with either GT 630M or 7670M graphics cards and two of them have i5 Ivy Bridge Mobile CPUs and are a very good deal. But, they do sell out and then you would wait for others. It is good that you are earning your money at a young age, but it does take a very long time to earn so much. The reviews showing one defective unit received and that the backlit keyboard which should be standard is actually an option had Amazon cut the price of this $800 retail laptop to $530.
Since the Intel core i5 is better than AMD A8-4500M, this is a slower processor so not as good in this Acer:

#143 BF3 averages medium at 23 frames per second and can be tweaked higher and the i5 should also help.

Adding: Maybe similar systems come up used or refurbished or open box at a bigger discount, but buying to a lower level of graphics may be disappointing even if you can get it faster. Hopefully, more systems of this type would be available when ready to buy.
