It is not your best choice. The low voltage underclocked CPU has sometimes caused some instability in older design games. They sometimes rely heavily on a single core.
However, this CPU is up at 1.8GHz in single core with a good architecture. It should be fine.

Touchscreens are better left to tablets. They are more of a toy on a laptop adding fingerprints and pushing a screen out of place sometimes. You need a keyboard anyway. I learned I prefer an external mouse to the touchpad.

The Acer touchscreen laptops are getting consistenly lower ratings than other brands.

Dell once made a good system and fell from grace. They are now struggling to regain their place in the market. Customer service is one of many problems with this company.

Alienware are glorified Dells and are more name then product. Priced extremely high for what you get. They do perform but you can get the same for less by looking around, just not packaged to be eye candy to the gamers.

Samsung has a history of using cheap parts in critical areas. Capacitors has been one area Samsung has a known history of going cheap, causing units to fail early. For that reason I would avoid them.

ASUS and HP do not modify Windows as bad as the other manufacturers. They have excellent build quality. They might add a lot of bloat but they also makes it easy to get rid of it.

Ultrabooks are the higher end of Wintel laptops but they have some of the same concerns as Apple. They make it next to impossible to change any hardware in them. Service of them will have to be done by the manufacturers. With most of them, you can not change your own battery or hard drive. They are designed to catch your eye but they are not any more special then other laptops except for the fact that they are slim or thin. Your paying for it being thin and slim. For the money your going to spend on it you can buy a much better laptop with more power.

Hybrids are the worse of the worse. The flip or detachable touch screens are just a disaster waiting to happen.

Never buy an All In One. They are far worst then laptops of any kind to service and they have a higher failure rate.

What are the best gaming Laptops that are out right now?

I have been doing some research on gaming laptops that can really run through games like Far Cry 3, Bioshock Infinite, Minecraft, MMOs, etc. The only ones that have caught my eye is the Alienware m17x and m18x, and Sager laptops.

If you can recommend some other ones I would really appreciate it.

By the way I am looking for a laptop because I will be moving around for the next couple years so I dont have time for a Desktop, and I'm looking for quality Hardware atleast under $2,500 so thanks in advance.

As a general rule of thumb, try to avoid Alienware laptops. They are the best gaming experience you will ever have, for about three hours. They they overheat and burn themselves out, leaving you with a somewhat crispy, very expensive paper weight. Try an ASUS laptop, they have several good gaming laptops.

I play Minecraft on a tiny little netbook, and it sort of works when the render distance is tiny, graphics are fast, etc.... So I would like a better gaming laptop, but not a thousand dollar Alienware laptop or anything. I don't have that much money to spare, so if I can find a cheap laptop that runs Minecraft well, that would be great!

There's no sense in buying a low end laptop that more than likely deliver what you pay for. Nothing. Investing in any laptop with a graphic card and a low end CPU is just asking for your money to be burned. If you really want to get rid of your wallet, I accept donations. Or, you can make a quality, sensible purchase with long lasting, quality components that will provide outstanding performance for at least 2-3 years before considering an upgrade.

Ive been trying really hard to find a gaming laptop lately but I'm no computer genius haha. I would love a laptop that can run skyrim on at least medium settings and minecraft on high setting with no lag. I'm not amazing with computers so a lot of help would be incredible. I realize that "gaming laptop" is like an oxy moron but I don't have room for a desktop. What should I look for when buying a laptop. The one I have now lags so hard its ridiculous. I need it to be capable for MInecraft, C&C, Civilization, maybe sims. So nothing that crazy as far as gaming goes.If you have any specific suggestions that would be great.

For example what should I have (minimum) processor, graphics card, RAM, etc...

It would be nice to know your price range, I could make a pretty solid recommendation, but i'll do my best in directing you to a good computer.

Two things to stay away from if you want a gaming laptop.
1) Mac's. They are wayy too overpriced for what they have to offer.
2) Alienware. Sure they are great gaming computers, but they break easy, and they are overpriced as well.

Processor:
I reccommend an Intel i5 or higher (i7 would be best)
anything above about 2.8Ghz is good, above 3.0 is ideal.

Graphics Card:
Nvidia GeForce is a good line of graphics cards, 1GB is good.

RAM:
Anything 4GB or higher.

I recommend any XPS laptop from Dell.

What is a good but cheap gaming laptop that can run World of Warcraft on MAX settings?

I'm looking for a gaming laptop around $700 or less preferably. Im not trying to run Crysis 3 or Battlefield 3 on max settings more like smaller games such as WoW, Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, and perhaps a few other games on steam. I would like to run games like that especially WoW and TF2 on max settings. Please if anyone knows a good gaming laptop that can run that in my price range please give me an answer.
