Eurocom Monster 1.0? Can it run ArmA 2 and 3?

My question is, will it run ArmA 2 and 3? And on what settings. Can this laptop run other games on high like Far Cry 3, Skyrim, BF3, TF2,etc..?

According to the Arma System Requirements from the game. The EUROCOM Monster should have absolutely no problem.
The minimum CPU offered was an Intel Core i5 so maybe spring for an i7.

In terms of the other games, i would think it will be ok. Again, the i7 proc will help.

Other than that enjoy gaming on the little guy, it sure looks like an epic little laptop.

I have two choices in my new laptop: This is the last factor in my decision
I leave out the make/model so I get an opinion on JUST the video config.
Please put your "dedicated graphics GPU bias" aside for a minute.

Both HD 3000 supposedly set for up to 1.7gb

2nd config does stream 1080p via WiDi

I heard the Intel HD 3000 doesn't support DX11. Shouldn't impact me as I'm not using heavy graphics/gaming right?

** I'm leaning towards the first config, Intel HD 3000 only with extra memory. Allows Intel GPU to snag as much memory as it can with the least impact on memory available for OS/Apps/etc.

PC Mag rates them too close to make a difference. Actually gives the first config their Editors Choice mark. What would you say?

Battery life is a major requirement so a dedicated graphics has to be Optimus which the 2nd unit has. Shut down the GPU when not used...

I have one pet peeve with the 2nd config, the polymer-Lithium battery is built in. When it goes, I have an unknown cost to replace it.

Answer
First config is better for you since you are not too much into gaming and want major multitasking.8 GB RAM is good for you and in my opinion you can also enjoy 1080p videos on your laptop.
