Is it possible to just buy a cheap laptop and replace all the internals?

I'm wanting to buy a good laptop. I want it to be able to be practical for my schoolwork, and be able to run games smoothly on high settings. But I'm on a really low budget. Is it possible to buy a super cheap craptop and gut the whole thing, and replace all the internal chips and stuff?

It would be impossible to do that task on laptops and totally impractical if possible. You would waste more money.

What kind of laptop/laptop features to get for these needs?

I'm looking into getting a laptop but I have a few things I need to be able to do on it. What kind of laptop/features of a laptop do you suggest for me to be able to do these things:
-Edit photos using photoshop and online editing programs.
-Play Minecraft/League of Legends/Other games
-Be able to use iTunes
-Watch Netflix
-Watch youtube/upload to youtube efficiently
-Regular online use
-Possibly installing an animation software, pretty decent one at that, so needs to be able to handle it.

Those are the main things I would be using the laptop for. If you have any suggestions, I welcome them. I want to stay as low budget as possible.
