What things should I look for when Im trying to buy a gaming laptop? I dont know much about laptops please help.

- fast processor - Intel Core i5 or i7 would be preferred
- at least 4GB RAM
- at least 500GB hard drive
- great graphics card - most important component when it comes to playing games.

What kind of gaming computer should I get?

I am wondering what is more cheaper, a gaming laptop or a gaming desktop. To be more specific, which would I gain more power?
I am looking for something under $1000 that can run games like starcraft 2 on ultra settings. Thanks.
p.s. Do gaming computers make great "work or everyday use" computers?
