hi, im kerri i am getting a laptop for christmas but i need to find which one my parents cam buy me. I want PINK cause its my favorite color but i dont want dell. and i want a brand name one that has battery life up to bout 2 hrs if possible.can you please help me..... points for the best answer!!

Check these out, also keep a look out for laptops coming out in mid october early november, as those laptops will have windows 7 installed on them. And Oct-Nov would be a good time to get a laptop
But as for what is out right now check these out. Also let me know if you want to play games on the laptop, as that will change things around.
And it's good that you don;t want a dell, they are the worst brand out there.

Not too many pink ones out there. You may have to go directly to the Sony or Gateway website, as they are the only ones besides dell that I know have pink laptops.

Laptop shuts down when playing video games?

I have a Dell Inspiron and it keeps shutting down when I play on Steam. I've had this laptop since the end of May 2013 and I've had no problems with Steam before but as of November it started to shut down when I'm playing games on Steam ( mainly Saints Row ) I've did a scan on it and i have no viruses and everything is updated, what can I do?
I have windows 8 and 4.00 GB of RAM.
I'm 15 and I bought the Dell with my own money, it was the only thing I could afford, if I had enough money I would of bought a better laptop.....or just built my own PC.

but please don't try to force your laptop to play something that it will struggle to play
otherwise all that money you've invested will just disappear
Yes I know you did what you could with the money you had and you want to play games... I understand that but listen to an old wise man.. don't destroy what you've got - go tap on your friends shoulder and ask to use his desktop gaming rig
