As for laptops and gaming at 300... not going to happen BUT...
there is a (kinda new) Cpu out called and APU, its like a cpu+gpu in one, for the budget gamer.
The only option for that price range is in a desktop, Below i will post the best $300 APU computer.

The cheaper the better! I want a notebook not a netbook although netbooks are cheaper. Unfortunately i am on a very tight budget. I would like to play The Sims 3 on it which is why I ask for a gaming notebook. If the notebook isn't under the "gaming" category but still abides with the system requirements for the game I am ok with that. I would just really like some help with looking for a laptop. Thank You!

Sorry, but everyone else is right, its just not going to happen. You need to save up some more money, you can't get a decent laptop for under $300, only thing you might find is an old used one that will not be fast enough.

Is there a gaming laptop out there that is new and under $300?

My budget might be able to go to 400 but thats as high as it can go. Ive tried alienware still too expensive.

New as in never been used. It needs a fairly good sized hard-drive 60-120gigs is good. It also needs to be able to play 3D games with ease.
Is there a used one out there for this price then. Or can i get one with a low payment plan? The payment plan has to be monthly though and it has to range from $20 - $60.
Im sorry for the inconveiience but im only 17 and no one will higher me for minimum wage. It sucks trying to get a job all i can do is mow a friends lawn for $20 week. including raking and maybe shovelling.

No such thing as "Good, Cheap, and FAST" you can only have 2 of the three. It'll be good & fast but not cheap. Good and cheap but not fast enough for games, or fast and cheap but overheats.


You're not going to see any of these for 300. Not even on Dells outlet site do they go that low. look for a used desktop or lanbox and add a decent video card.

I really want to get a laptop but i'm having troubles finding one that suits my needs at a low price. These are the Specs, Games, and Price range:

4GB RAM
120GB and up hard drive

Toshiba Satellite has some pretty good laptops around $350-400. For decent gaming on newer games, you'd pay around $500-$550. But they got something around your price range that will easily run those games greatly with good graphics. I doubt you'll get the specs you want. But they look good for what you are willing to pay. Maybe a but lower in RAM, and maybe an AMD APU instead of a GPU and CPU. It's like both put into one, they're pretty decent/ I'd recommend Dell and Toshiba (satellite, mostly). I wouldn't go for HP or anything like Gateway or Compaq. I guess Acer is all right. I can't give anything specific, just Dell and Toshiba.

Best Gaming Laptop for Under 300?

What is the best laptop to play games over the internet, with a decent amount of RAM, a fairly big Hard Drive, and that cost a small amount. It has be found at either Micro Center or Best Buy. Also, looking for the lowest price possible with decent quality.
EDIT: Ok I can go to like 500-600 but that is about it, I have other things to pay off.
EDIT 2: The absolute max price I could do is probably 1000.

Funny, really. For $300 the only laptop you could find online would be a netbook but you couldn't find a single laptop at Best Buy or Mircocenter for under $300. And forget about that whole gaming bit. Add a zero to that figure and then we can talk. But honestly expect to pay at the very minimum $750 or $800. When you get that money, look at Asus, they're the best brand. Don't waste your time looking at Alienware, they're trash for the price.

This Asus packs a P8400 which can handle gaming well, the standard 4GB RAM and a 320GB HDD, and then the 9650M GT. This card can play every single game out there. How is this possible? Resolution. Asus was smart enough to realize that since the power of this card is limited, they matched it with a monitor that would allow the system to max out most games and still have it look good. The only game you couldn't make would be Crysis, but it would still be perfectly playable. For $900 this isn't a bad deal.

This is a joke right! PC gaming laptops start at $1,200 and go up from there.

If you want to play Tablet games or Smartphone games you need one of them to play. If all you want to do is play Minecraft or the Sims 3 type games then a simple Pentium or ATHLON CPU with dual cores will work. But for Skyrim you need a quad core CPU that can run at 3.0 ghz at least.

Plus you need 1GB of VRAM and a Nvida X60M or Radeon X850M series card to get good FPS at 1080p resolution and with some in game details.
