Gaming laptop around or under 1,000?

They stopped making the upgrade to my 6831fx which has been AWESOME for gaming. I'm looking for something else that will be durable, and last a while. Ideas?

The laptops I've mentioned here are just examples of good ones, but the companies both make great laptops in general. Especially for gaming!

I'm looking for something like...
2.5 ghz dual-core
at least 4gigs of ram
dont really care about HD size
17'' screen or around there with one of the highest resolutions
and a newer video card
If theres no such thing as a laptop like this then i will consider getting an entertainment laptop, but how well are entertainment laptops able to play games compaired to gaming?
