What is the best gaming laptop under $1,000?

I was thinking about buying a gaming laptop but I don't know anything about it, though. I was reading all this stuff and I was like huh. And it has to be under $1,000. I don't know what to do!!

None. Low-power, high performance GPUs are outrageously expensive, for example, the cheapest Alienware is $1,000, which is the absolute minimum considered good for gaming. There are cheaper, but, make sure it has at least the same specs or better.

Desktop card GPUs are different, same model name and number are 40% faster, and, mid-range cards usually require a 500W+ power supply, something that laptop batteries can't do.

Can anyone find a gaming laptop for under $1,000?

2.5 ghz dual-core
at least 4gigs of ram
dont really care about HD size
17'' screen or around there with one of the highest resolutions
and a newer video card
If theres no such thing as a laptop like this then i will consider getting an entertainment laptop, but how well are entertainment laptops able to play games compaired to gaming?

doubt if you get a better deal
and yes, you do end up paying some extra $150 ... but worth every bit of that
