You'll normally find gaming laptop starting at $800 and going up from there. You wont find any laptop with dedicated graphic cards under $750, unless they are used, refurb or on sale.

Im a newb in Computer Gaming always liked it, but have always had a xbox, and i am looking for a affordable laptop that can still run your major 3d games like cod, Crysis, and counter strike. i would be fine with something thats a little older, but nothing more then a year, like i said somthing under 800 dollars would be nice, and i dont really even know where to start.
