Alinewere gaming laptop?

Taylor

I was wondering if the Alinewere gaming laptops are good?

I want one that can run demanding games without lagging, crashing and still have good graphics even when the game settings are on high

I dont really want to spend over £1300, so are they good laptops? please if you are going to list what the laptop has eg. "6 mega bites or a 1234x core processor" or whatever please tell me what that means because i have no clue about laptops, just that i want a good one
Alienware*

sorry

Answer
Ok alienware laptops are not better then other gaming laptops like Asus in my opinion. Don not get alienware i dont get why its so expensive since its specs are not even that great. I would recommend getting a Asus laptop. You should get a laptop with a good graphic card and good processor. So you should look for laptops that have a i7processor make sure the brand is intel since they are good for gaming. And look for NVDIA graphic card. Nvdia graphic cards are best for gaming. And make sure it has a Decent amount of Ram. 8gb of Ram, would be best. And for graphic cards make sure you are getting a graphic card that has at least 60. What i mean is that when you look at a laptops graphic card you will see that it can be like 660 or 570. So look at the 2ND digit not first. 570 would be a better graphic card then 660 because its 60 vs 70. So make the graphic card has a good 2nd digit higher then 60. And 3rd have good enough hard drive. 600 GB would be enough. And make it has a good screen resolution like 1920 x 1080 .
Good luck! on your gaming laptop.

Gaming laptop? Asus, Alienware, or what?

Hello, everyone, I am looking into buying a gaming laptop and need some help deciding make and model. Here are a few things I'd like to clarify:

-I would like to spend <$1800.

-I really just want a gaming computer that can run Total War: Rome 2 (comes out SEP. 3 and no official system requirements have been released.) as efficiently as possible.

-Finally, I am a complete moron when it comes to computer specs so please keep everything in layman's terms.

Answer
My recommendation will be ASUS because most of the gaming laptops of ASUS are going really well and most of the customers are satisfied with them. One of the option which I think you should consider is ASUS G75VX-TS72 which comes under your budget and has the price of around $1500. Also it has good features and also designed specially for gaming as well.

Its features which include:

Intel CoreTM i7-3630QM Quad Core Processor (6M Cache, 2.40GHz - 3.40 GHz) 45W which is really powerful and decides the performance of the laptop.
It has Operating System of Windows 8
It has Optical Drive of Blu-Ray Player SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW Dual Layer.
It has RAM of 16GB which is for handling the multitasking
Hard Drive of 750GB 7200rpm which is really huge storage for storing different files and software.

For further details I would like you to see the comment from an actual user which will explain that how it actually performs:

If you want to look into other options in this price range then for your ease here is a list of laptops which mostly includes gaming laptops. You can review them and decide for yourself:
