I will be getting the Asus u56e-bal7 and it has 750 GB and I read reviews about it online and its not a very good gaming laptop. I'm not a gamer so I don't care about that but I do love playing Sims 3? Will it still work on this laptop?

Answer
Look at the Sims 3 game requirements. If the specs of your computer match, or are better, you are fine playing The Sims 3. The Sims 3 is hardly a GPU intensive game, you'll probably be fine.

You can find a list of all the hardware specs here: http://www.thesims3.com/game/systemreq

FOR WINDOWS VISTA
2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
1.5 GB RAM
128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1
At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games
For computers using built-in graphics chipsets under Windows, the game requires at least:
Intel Integrated Chipset, GMA 3-Series or above
2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU, or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, or equivalent
0.5 GB additional RAM

Can someone show me a good laptop for modern games?

Im trying to find a good laptop that will paly modern games (wow, mw3, other games) not like extreme woe highest graphic or anything just one that will play without too much lag, for under 750$

Answer
For less than $750 you can get a decent gaming laptop but am not sure if it will be good enough for MW3, you need to spend about a grand to get one that will play those games efficiently
