Im thinking of buying a gaming headset by tritton. Its a universal headset meaning it will work on xbox ps3 wii u and pc. I want to know if i can record games using the headset on pc using fraps. The headset has a usb output. Thanks for reading.

Well even the cheapest Bluetooh headset at walmart will do what you are wanting to do. Assuming your computer has a Bluetooh adaptor which if it is a laptop pretty much all do these days. If not you can get a Bluetooth USB adapter on eBay for dirt cheap and it works just fine, itll be much cheaper than the headset you are refering to and will do the same thing. I dont know anything on Fraps no clue what it even is but Sound Recorder default to Windows should work too.

Hi, I want to record live videos for my youtube channel and I need a new micrephone but the only problem is that whenever I play games on my laptop the fan gets really loud so I need a microphone that will reject or at least dampen the fan sound so I can barely hear it. Thank you so much

if the jack is 3.5mm(1/4in) audio jack then sure. i do it all the time. but for audio. the mic will not work, as laptops don't generally have the audio/mic hybrid jack. they are usually two seperate jacks, in which the blackberry headset mic will not work. you may need something like a 3.5mm audio/mic splitter for you to plug the audio and mic in their respective ports.

What should I get a PC Gamer for Christmas?

My son is 17 and he is a pc gamer, this year he turns 18 so this is his last present. Me and my wife don't know what to get him, he has a gaming laptop which is 750gb so he has lots of games. We were thinking about getting him the ps3 slim 250gb GTA V bundle its $265.00 and we can give him $35.00 for games since we saw that the prices went down or a xbox 360 E (one that has 2 colors on it, thin its called E Verson ) its 4gb but its $180 so he has more money to buy games, we were going to get the xbox one or ps4 but most reviews we saw were about 3 stars for both if a ps4 with tax is $465.00 then he wont have much for games, I saw online that free to play games we available but we run a computer shop and we hog all the wfi so he gets no signal. Also he already has dual monitors, a huge keyboard ( believe its called a mad catz cyborg ), gaming mouse, and 5.1 surround sound, ang gaming headset. -Thank you

What are some Top-of-the-line Gaming Headsets for PC?

I'm looking for some good gaming headsets for PC (I prefer Turtle Beach) with an attached microphone that are price no more than 100 bucks. I would like surround sound and preferably wireless with a cool looking exterior color on the headset ( looking for green to match my computer box). What would you suggest? Maybe from past experience or ones your using now, or etc. Would like alot of suggestions. Thanks.

This is a wireless headset, with surround sound and almost all of your other required features and it is within your price range.

Turtle Beaches are great headsets but they are most popular for console usage not many PC users prefer them. For PC usage the best headsets are Astro A40 / A50, one and Sennheiser headsets are very popular. Few high end Razer and Steelseries are also quite popular these days. If you still insist on Turtle Beach then I'll suggest you can check out Ear force PX22 (wired) or Turtle Beach Call of Duty: Black Ops II X-RAY Wireless Dolby Surround Sound Gaming Headset both are within your price range and are good headsets.
