Does playing games on a alienware gaming laptop slow down the computer?

When i play games on a pc it slows down everything, then i heard of this gaming laptop called alienware and it cost a lot of money! So im thinking since its so expensive it should be very good so im wondering if i play games on it does the games slow down the computer?

dude that laptop is built to play games on so while your trying to brag about what you have your only making yourself look lame..... that is one of the biggest recommended computers to use for gaming...... i have one since 2008 and it works fine i have all kinds of games on there.

What are some good gaming laptop companies, that are not mainstream like alienware or xps?

I'm looking for a new gaming laptop, i have an alienware but i wanna look at some different off the radar companies. Anyone know any good companies that sell gaming laptops, especially ones with 15" screens or laptops under $1000? I already know about Sager, all other company suggestions are cool.

First off, Alienware aren't that mainstream. I like Overdrive PC and Maingear, although they are rather botique.
