I have the intel i3 330m and im looking for a computer that can multitask and game for under 400$ is intel pentium, B980 good for me.this is the laptop i found, id it god for what i want

The B980 is a little better
Faster by test, speed based on full core rather than hyperthread, higher clock for single core, slightly newer graphics probably slightly better. Faster memory controller.
The Pentium is a reduced core i3-2xxx; not an old Pentium.
The Pentium is newer. It is based on Sandy Bridge architecture released in September 2012
The i3-330M is Nehalem based and released January 7, 2010
Adding: Neither is gaming level. Both valued below the US$400 mark needed to get a chance at quality and/or performance.

We'll break free one day. We've got a map of the outside world and everything. It's going to take a few months for our nitroglycerin supplies to be delivered though, so, in the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for future updates
