Whats the difference between an alienware laptop and an alienware pc?

I'm thinking of buying a Alienware Aurora(PC) or an Alienware Mx15 (laptop). I have an Acer aspire but, its not enough. I'm a gamer and I need higher gaming performance. I play varies of PC games on my laptop but, its not a gaming laptop. I play World of Warcraft (Yeah its a little minty) and my laptop just doesnt do it.

Well, one's a laptop and the other's a desktop. For future reference, a laptop also qualifies as a "PC" (Personal Computer)... what you mean was a "desktop" vs a "laptop".

Anyway, a laptop's only advantage is that it's portable. For all other things (performance, upgradability, cost, customizability, etc) a desktop is better.

I want a new gaming laptop because mine is dying out. Currently it plays 45 average fps on low settings on world of Warcraft. I will be using this laptop mostly for WoW and would like it specced for gaming. I've looked at Asus and Sager but idk what to get. My price range is anywhere from 750-1200 dollars, please help me I would like to run 60+ fps on At least good or high settings for wow

$1200? Dude, you can cusomize an insane gaming laptop with HP for that kinda cash. I recommend at least an intel i5-i7 or at least 2ish GHz. If it's for gaming, you don't need too much memory, so id do 16 GB minimum. And don't really pay attention to sound system or if it's touchscreen, for gamers, that's just an extra feature that makes games weirder than normal.
