Answer
With gaming computers, in-game performance depends approximately 70% upon the graphics card model. The CPU has much less impact overall- it just needs to be fast enough to avoid bottlenecking your GPU.

Here's the best of the bunch:

This is 2nd-best:

The rest are MUCH slower, not worth considering. The GeForce GT 610 is just a renamed GT 520, and the GT 620 is just a renamed GT 530 (which was itself an updated GT 430)

Here's how the various graphics cards compare:

For reference the Radeon HD 6670 is about 10% faster than the 5670. The Radeon HD 7750 is somewhat better than a GTS 450, approximately equal to the Radeon HD 5770.

Good gaming laptop for $2500-$3000 - Alienware m5550?

Q. I'm looking for a good laptop in the $2500-$3000 range for 65% gaming and 35% normal internet use. Right now I'm thinking about the Alienware m5550 notebook. Can anyone give me suggestions on what I should also look into?

The games I play right now are World of Warcraft, Battlefield 2 and other up to date FPSs and want something to run them all smoothly as in 40+ fps. Thank you :)
thanks for your 2 responses, but if I was to get a gaming laptop, what do you think would be a good idea to do?
