If you're not adept in the area of graphics cards, you have no idea if you're being ripped off by something claiming to be a "gaming" system. I've seen gaming systems advertised with POS on-board Intel graphics which barely rival an etch-a-sketch. The graphics card in question looks rather old (according to news releases, was unveiled on March 17, 2004), so in my opinion (and anyone that knows anything about graphics cards) is NOT meant for gaming (unless, of course, you count Solitaire as gaming).

PS4 or Gaming Laptop?

Please no BS fanboy answers, gimme some logic haha. So by the end of Christmas I should have around 400-500 bucks total. I've been pondering over what to buy or save for, it's between the ps4 or a gaming laptop of some kind (windows, alienware idk) but I'm on the fence. I watch markiplier, skyrim mods, etc and absolutely love it but realize i can't do any of that stuff. But I've had a ps3 for ages and its pretty much consumed hundreds of hours of my life hahaha. And the ps4 looks pretty dang cool. Plus I have no knowledge of what to get download install buy etc for a gaming laptop. I'd be completely in the dark. Anybody got any suggestions?

-Large access to gaming library/Steam cheap as dirt sale...... get you a lot of game for $60
-Portable
-Can use for other things like school works
-MODS
Cons Laptop:
-Depend on how much you spend on it a $500 laptop might not get u the graphical beauty as a PS4 can
-Depend on what game you play optimization is most likely better on console but doesn't mean best.
PS4 Pros:
-Cheap and beautiful
-Some available games
PS4 Cons:
-New console therefore there are problem that might not fix or explored
-There isn't much game to play to be honest i got bored of bf4 because of some of the issue it having some of the free2play on it suck and u can play on pc anyway, ps plus.... but you get free game out of it i guess, other games that might be fun is fifa, assassin creed, madden..... if you're not sport fan then there isn't really a way to keep you entertain until febr or march when more games coming out. So far i been using my ps4 as netflix on tv lol barely played.
-Games are $60 and barely on sale or not at all.
Conclusion:
I say wait until next year before buying it since more game will be available. you can buy the laptop but i doubt it run modern game any higher then low setting or luckily medium sometime high if u tweak a certain game right, within that time period you can save up more money for ps4 plus if you're in school u have a laptop to do work on. OR u can go other way around. Or just one. ORRRRRRR Save money live happy lol. The only possible scenario where you might buy a ps4 is playing with alot of friend over the winter season but that mean also invest more money on games which could end up a lot. This is just my suggestion and opinion about the topics. Thanks for reading xD
