I want a decent priced gaming laptop starting from $800-$1400. I've been doing lots of research but many laptops are too expensive & don't look that great. Any suggestions? (Preferably from Sony.)

According to your budget Sony VAIO E Series SVE1511MFXS 15.5-Inch Laptop would be a nice option to consider.
The specs one should be looking in a gaming laptop, might not be available at a price below $800 but still there are so many competitive and power packed machines out there to choose from. Used or refurbished laptops could be considered too.
