Answer
A gaming laptop for that price you will not find.

First of all here is the definition of a gaming laptop;
A 17inch high resolution display
A very good processor such as i7-2670QM or better
A very good graphics card such as GeForce GTX570 or GTX580
RAM DDR3 8GB
Price is usually from $1400 on up.

You could buy a 15.6 inch screen laptop that will do most gaming on medium to even high settings for your price range or a little more, just look here:

I am very unhappy with my laptop, it has been a big disappointment, and I love to do a lot of gaming on my computer like , Sims2, 18 Wheels of Steel, All the Tycoons, Age of Empires, Prison Tycoon, all of them....what is the best kind of a computer? And where can I get it for a good price?

Answer
For gaming you are going to find that a desktop computer is better then a laptop computer. However, this doesn't mean that you can't find a laptop computer that is capable of playing games on.

Spec wise you prolly want at least:

2.0 ghz processor or faster (Intel)
1Gb of RAM (DDR2)
120GB Hard drive (7200 rpm)
128mb video card (nvidia / ATI) since latop this is going to be a little difficult to find since it will be a built in video card.

standard LAN connection (10/100 mb) Gigabit would be best.

You can search Dell or HP for a laptop with these specs.

Newegg and tigerdirect going to be your best bet price wise unless you go with dell.
