Lookin for a gaming laptop for around 1000 bucks.?

Q. I see ones for more than 2 processers but not so great video cards. Should i go with the duo or should i go for a good video card

Answer
For games, the video card is much more important. Any laptop without at least a Radeon 4650/5650 or a Nvidia 250M/350M will be pretty much useless for games.

I'd suggest either the ASUS G51Jx ($1100 to 1400) or N61Jq ($1000 to 1200). They are both great gaming laptops for the price. Other options are the Acer 5470G ($800) or a properly configured HP DV6T ($950 for the one with a Radeon 5650).

help, i would like to get a gaming laptop for around $1000?

I would like to play games like battlefield 3, call of duty, fallout, skyrim, hopefully battlefield 4 when its released, and new released games all at high or even ultra. If anyone could link me to a nice Laptop that can meet my requirements. i need help i have looked all over but cant really find anything of use i have no idea what specs i need to look for. help please. Thanks in advance.

Answer
For 1,000 you might find a few laptops that will run your games at high settings, at ultra maybe but at 30 or so FPS (frame rates per second). Check out the MSI G series laptops or the Asus ROG laptops they're nice but prices are around 1,200. You might find them cheaper if you look around. But anyway heres the link to an Asus ROG laptop and the MSI G series site.
