Is there any that compare with an intel i3 or i5? and also if anyone has any suggestions on laptops that are good for gaming under 600 dollars? used or refurbished on ebay is cool. windows 7 is a must.

No. AMD mobile processors are pathetic. Their desktop processors are great value, but their mobile processors are slow. The quad core Phenom can't compete with the higher clock for clock performance of a Core i3.

I have a dell inspiron and I really like it but this thing breaks so easily and doesn't even start up at times. I want something under 600 dollars and it needs to have a webcam, windows vista, a scroll bar on the mouse pad, pretty fast and can play some games like grand theft auto.

i would not go with dell again because of their overpriced computers for their cheap parts. go with asus or HP, they're both pretty good. i would go with asus more though because of their durability and excellent quality. dont get confused with acer! thats different!
