Why is the gameplay so slow on my laptop?

I bought saints row off of amazon games for my laptop( Toshiba satellite L645-S4102 running windows 7) and while playing the game it seems as if I'm going in slow motion I don't know what I should do I tried reducing the quality to see if that would work but it didn't. Please help!

Hello, Your computer may need general maintenance, this should help.

Delete all unwanted files and free Disk Space. Make sure at least 15% of your disk place should be empty. The computer needs this space...

Check for viruses and other malware, clean them if found. Scan you computer with up to date anti virus program.

Clean fan with compressed air, and make sure it has air flow.

Click start>Run.. Type msconfig>enter>Start Up. Uncheck the boxes for the programs that you think you may not use often

Increase the RAM of your system. If you have vista or windows 7 you could use ram boost.

Back up your data and make sure you have a set of recovery/reinstall disks in case your hard drive goes out...

DISK CLEAN UP
Start- accressories-system tools-disk clean up

CLEAN COOKIES
AND HISTORY
Start-control panel-internet
options-delete cookes-history

CHECK DISK
Start-my computer C drive-
right click-properties-tools-check
disk-error checking-it will start when
your reboot or start the pc next time

What are some good gaming laptops coolers?

My Toshiba Qosmio x870 gets very hot when I'm playing games like crysis and far cry 3. This wasn't much of a problem in the winter but now the summer is here and its a problem for my laptop. I would like suggesstion for an efficient gaming laptop coolers. Preferably up to 19 inch. Thank You!

A 3 fan cooler pad is basically all that is needed to cool down any laptops sufficiently.

Gaming laptops don't exist as such it's only a market sales pitch to suck in extra cash from consumers. Laptops will never replace Desktops in gaming performance. Real gamers know this

Your question has the answer as to why Laptops will never be good for gaming. Laptops overheat because all components inside are squeezed like inside a sardine can. There is not enough room for properly ventilate and cool down all internal components in a laptop.

Yes Summer is approaching and many laptops will be damaged by the extra heat.
If you don't mind some good advice a very good cooling pad will not do any good if the laptop's internal fans are clogged up with dust. This includes the CPU fan which is not accessible by most laptop owners. Dust is a major factor in heat buildup in laptops so even the best of the best cooling pads won't help.

Want to be a real gamer trash the laptop and get a desktop. It's cheaper when upgrading and more effective in gaming performance.
