I'm just worried about heat in a gaming laptop, is there a kind of stand or something other than cleaning the laptop and shutting it off when not in use to deal with heat when I'm using it?

I Am looking to buy a gaming laptop under 3000 dollars that can run games like skyrim mw3 bf3 etc. Not looking for a spcific brand or design thanks in advane for your help.

Dont buy an alienware! They are overpriced. Don't buy a mac either for gaming. HP is okay and Toshiba is good. Asus has really good gaming laptops. Only buy Alienware if you have the money to spend, because usaully you can get the same performance with a cheaper laptop.
